Working Together to Create Happier and More Effective Parenting in Difficult Times

When a child or young person is struggling, life can feel like an emotional rollercoaster as tensions power struggles and distress become the norm for the 'everyday'. As parents, you can feel very isolated and alone in their fear, frustration and confusion.

Parenting/Family Support Sessions, where appropriate, can be a useful intervention for the family in the child's therapeutic process and offer a compassionate, uncritical space for parents to feel seen heard and understood in their own experience, and less alone.

Parenting and Family Sessions offer :

An understanding of behaviour through a new lens which can in turn transform relationship dynamics.

Strengthened emotional regulation through therapeutic coaching that helps develop practical tools for staying grounded, so you can model regulation and resilience.

Rebuilding or strengthening of connection by re establishing trust warmth and open communication.

Gaining scripts and strategies parents can use immediately that can guide you through the power struggles.

A one-off session or a course to explore any difficulties, whether you or your child are in therapy or not, can facilitate a clearer comprehension of a child or young person’s view of the world and transform conflict into harmony.
